If you'd like to feature in our gallery please e-mail your photos to us in jpeg format to: firstname.lastname@example.org or send them via our Facebook page. We can’t promise that we’ll feature all of them but, if you follow our tips below, we’ll do our best.
Some tips for taking a good photo:
- Ensure that the fish (particularly if it's a large one) is held safely ie close in to your body with both hands (be careful to avoid the fish coming into contact with zips/buttons on your clothing) and, if the fish is large, make sure you are kneeling down with the fish held above your landing mat.
- If you have a net of fish, this also must be on a landing mat - no fish (even in a net) should be placed directly on the ground in case they come into contact with something that could damage them (nettles, thistles, etc).
- Try to get a shot with the lake behind you so that everyone can see where you have caught your fish.
