South Pool

Heavily stocked with same mixture of fish as the main Match Lake but with a larger proportion of bream (to 5lb) plus skimmers.
The banks of the South Pool are steep creating a good depth of water tight to the features.
Planted with trees, native shrubs, etc.
Gary Bedford currently holds the record for the heaviest fish caught from this lake. Gary topped 'Chips' Rafferty's 15lb carp with a 16lb 2oz mirror from peg 4.
