General Information...

 

Food

Karen brings her freshly prepared, home-cooked hot and cold food to the lakeside.  You can eat at your swim or in the newly refurbished indoor café area or use the takeaway service. 

Breakfasts,  toasted sandwiches, filled rolls, crisps, snacks and ice-creams are available together with a selection of hot and cold drinks. 

  • Free top up of tea or coffee when you order a full breakfast

  • Vending machine available outside normal opening hours serving hot and cold drinks and soup

  • Children's fishing parties

  • Catering can be provided outside of normal opening hours

  • Cream tea weekends

  • Local business delivery service

On match days (see the calendar) the cafe will open from 8.00am by prior arrangement.

Tuition

Local Professional Anglers Association (PAA) coach, Kevin Dicks, can provide fishing lessons for all ages and abilities at our venue.  For further details contact him either via e-mail at kevin@dicks.fsnet.co.uk or by phone on 0117 377 1355 or 0777 552 6437.

Rod Licences

Anyone over the age of 12 fishing in freshwaters in England or Wales must have a valid Environment Agency Rod Licence.  We do not check these but we do get occasional visits from Environment Agency representatives who do.  You can buy a rod licence at the Post Office or on-line at the following link:

Disabled/Impaired Mobility access

We are pleased to welcome disabled visitors and offer the following:  

  • There is level access to a proportion of the swims, particularly on Rushcombe Lake.  

  • The campsite is on a level site adjacent to the lakes.  

  • We have a disabled toilet with ramp, hand rail, lever tap, etc.

  • Showers and taps with push button controls for ease of use.

  • Automatic hand driers.

  • Push open / automatic closing doors into the shower / toilet block

  • Café has level access
