Our Spacious Campsite

Our Spacious Campsite

Camping at Bullock Farm

The Campsite...

Our 2.5-acre campsite can accommodate caravans, motorhomes, tents and trailer tents and is set in our 12-acre field adjacent to our well established fishing lakes, recently voted in the top 50 fisheries in the UK by the Angler’s Mail & the Angling Times. We offer usual facilities of drinking water and chemical disposal point and our showers and toilets are are situated in the fishing car park. Refreshments are available from our on-site café - click here for opening times.

Electric hook-ups...

We have 7 electric hook up points in pitches with hard-standings plus 1 without hard-standing.  If you wish to reserve a pitch with electric hook up then we ask for a non-refundable £25 deposit in advance to secure your pitch otherwise you can just turn up on the day and decide where you’d like to set up camp.  Please check our new terms and conditions below.

Other facilities...

Karen (who runs the café) can organise daily newspapers and milk by prior arrangement and will also freeze ice packs and charge mobile phones for a small donation to the charity box in the café.  Call her  on 07881 750833 or 01275 875671 for details.

Roadway...

Work to improve the roadway into and around the campsite has now been completed which means easy access all year round.  Although we shouldn't 'blow our own trumpet', it looks great!

Dogs...

We are delighted to announce that we now welcome dogs with well-behaved owners at the campsite!  Dogs must be kept on leads and are not allowed at the lakeside at any time but we also have a new dog exercise area where your dog can be let off the lead.  Please clean up after your dog – a bin is provided for this purpose in the dog exercise area.  We charge £1 per night per dog staying at the campsite.

In wet weather...

In times of wet weather, please keep motor vehicles, particularly motor homes, to the hard road and hard standings.  It's best to stop in the car park – prior to the Campsite sign - and check ground conditions before you drive onto the field.  If you are in any doubt, please call us on 01934 835020 as we do not have facilities to pull you out if you get stuck.

Local attractions...
As well as superb coarse fishing on site we are ideally situated for visiting Bristol, Bath, Cheddar, Wells, Wookey Hole and the surrounding countryside as well as the North Somerset coastline and various National Trust properties including Tyntesfield.  Click here for a whole host of ideas.

The Wright family from Maidenhead spent a great week camping and fishing with us (photos on our gallery).  Here's what they had to say:

"Having spent a splendid week camping and fishing at Bullock Farm with my wife Velda (allergic to fish!!) and my youngest, Sam, we decided to return a couple of weeks later with Matt (son number 2).

What a great few days it turned out to be, weather was a bit iffy occasionally but that did not distract from some great sport. Phil (the owner) gave as a warm welcome and updated us on the past couple of weeks' catches and the progress towards having electric hook ups installed on the site, as well as just chatting in general, an excellent host and extremely friendly.

It didn’t take us long to get the camp set up, kettle on and fishing gear rigged and ready to go. So after a refreshing brew we headed for North Pool (literally 2 minutes from the tent) for a couple of hours sport before dark.

The rest of the week was divided between the Carp Lake, the boys favourite, and North Pool, my favourite as I could nip back to the tent for the odd cuppa (and obviously see if my better half was ok) as well as the odd trip out to keep her happy.  Hopefully Alex (number 1 son) will be able to join us on our next visit, work load permitting, as we shall DEFINITELY BE BACK."
