• 25 pegs with many features.

• Stocked with same mixture of fish as the main Match Lake.  Carp to 13lb.

• The banks of the North Pool are steep creating a good depth of water tight to the features.

• June 2008: A new match record has been set by Steve Preece, a Bristol bricklayer who fishes with Frys.  Steve bagged 98lb 7oz from peg 6 using catmeat and pellet over pellet to take commons and mirrors to 6lb in his all-carp bag.

• The current pleasure bag record on this lake is held by Keith Firks from Bristol who fished peg 6 to take 154lb including commons to 6lb and mirrors to 8lb.  He caught an all-carp bag totalling 37 fish.  He fished on the pole with a 12 hook, 5lb line, 16 elastic, 6 metres out in open water with sweetcorn over sweetcorn.

• Roy Salmon previously held the pleasure bag record of 134lb on this lake.  Roy fished with rod and line with a 12 hook, 3lb line with sweetcorn over meat and sweetcorn on the inside margins.  He had mirrors to 4lb, commons to 3lb, crucians to 2.75lb, tench and roach in his bag.
