Welcome from your helpful team
Phil & Jude Simmons have been at Bullock Farm since 1984 (Phil has lived here since he was 7 years old and the farm has been in his family for at least 6 generations).
Farming pigs, poultry and sheep, we decided to diversify in 1995 by converting a disused pig slurry pit into what is now the Match Lake. The South Pool was established in the same year, followed a year later by the Carp Lake. As the business grew we added the North Pool and in 2003 we opened Rushcombe Lake.
We always strive to improve our facilities at Bullock Farm, and in addition to the above we boast two beautiful barn-conversion self-catering holiday cottages, a spacious campsite, a café, a purpose-built shower & toilet block, a tarmac driveway and car park and all-weather paths around the lakes.
We take pride in our friendly welcome and on your visit you are likely to meet Phil at the lakeside and The Lambing Shed team in the café. Jude is the friendly voice on our answerphone message, will respond to your e-mails and, if you ask her really nicely, might even put your picture on our website gallery! On Phil’s rare days off, you may also meet our son Ben or good friend Tim Ford at the lakeside. As well as carrying out all the lakes maintenance, Ben also runs his own landscaping business, Benedict Simmons Landscaping - click here to have a look at his website.
We look forward to welcoming you.
