Lambing Shed Cafe
We are very sorry to announce that Tracie will be leaving The Lambing Shed at the end of April. The last day she will be open will be Sunday 29th so please make the most of it while she is still there! We’d like to thank her very much for all the time and effort she has put into running the café over the last five years and wish her all the very best for the future.
Moving forward, we are now looking at various options for how the café may operate in the future so, if you know someone who may be interested, please pass on the information below:
The Lambing Shed cafe serves up hot and cold food and drinks to eat in or take away including: full breakfast or breakfast baps, jacket potatoes, paninis, cottage pie, lasagne, daily home-cooked specials and homemade cakes. They also do an excellent Sunday carvery which is really popular - phone 07429 934719 to book your table.
Current opening hours are*:
Saturday & Sunday 9.30am to 3.00pm.
The café team are very happy to open earlier/later by arrangement, please call to book.
If you would like any further information, please call the Lambing Shed on 07429 934719 and they will be delighted to help.
* Please check direct with the café.
We have a large tarmac-surfaced car park with ample space alongside the lakes. You can also park alongside a large proportion of the swims on Rushcombe Lake.
Toilet facilities for the lakes and café are located in the fishing car park alongside The Lambing Shed. Both Ladies and Gents facilities have a toilet, two handbasins and a shower and electric shaver point for our campers. All showers and taps have push button controls for ease of use and there are hygienic automatic hand driers. There is a disabled toilet with with ramp, hand rail, lever tap, etc.
We also have a lovely shower and toilet block in the campsite which has three shower rooms with toilets, wash-hand basins, disabled facilities and a washing up area.
We have two dishwashing stations for use by campers staying on our campsite - one at each shower/toilet block.
There are hard pathways around all the lakes to each swim.
We are pleased to welcome disabled visitors and offer the following:
Level access to a proportion of the swims, particularly on Rushcombe Lake.
Campsite on a level site adjacent to the lakes.
Disabled toilet with ramp, hand rail, lever tap, etc.
Showers and taps with push button/lever controls for ease of use.
Automatic hand driers.
Push open / automatic closing doors into the shower / toilet block
